The Family Shocks consists of Dave Pression on Vocals and Keyboards, June Gloom on guitar and vocals, Atom Anxt on Drums and backup vocals and Violet Vineyard on Bass. We started in February of 2006 with just D. Pression J. Gloom and A. Anxt, played a few shows and realized we were missing something so we searched high and low for Violet, and once we found her in July, we knew she'd fit right in with our consistent need for experimentation of musical sounds and instruments. We immediatly got to teaching her our songs so she would be able to play at our upcoming show, and with only 3 weeks and no money for a decent practice we "fuckin' rocked it". We are now looking forward to many more shows and an upcoming radio appearance....More to come.
